About Bryngafel Campsite
Tucked into the rolling Carmarthenshire countryside, this small pop-up farm site delivers the kind of peace you'd hope for from a remote Welsh escape – though the on-site cockerels Boris and Noris do like to make their presence known come morning. The gently sloping field offers lovely views across the surrounding farmland, and campfires are welcomed (just keep them off the grass). At night, expect bats wheeling overhead and the occasional owl call.
Facilities are simple but adequate: a shower, portable loos, and drinking water keep things ticking along, though there's no hot water. Dog owners are particularly well catered for, with a dedicated field featuring agility equipment where four-legged friends can let off steam. The nearest shops are a five-minute drive for essentials, while the Pembrokeshire coast – including Poppit Sands and Newport – is around half an hour away, making this a decent base for exploring without the seaside crowds.

What a beautiful, tranquil site. Nothing too much trouble for Suzanne who was so welcoming for me and my one person tent after walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. So nice in fact that I stayed another night. Suzanne and James are developing facilities and there is a compost and flushing toilet as well as a hot shower. Thank you so much Suzanne, James and Bryncws Farm.

Great location at the top of St Dogmaels. Friendly, helpful, great facilities. And the setting is as stunning as you expect in the hear of the national park. Highly recommended.

Incredibly warm welcome. Everything you need is here, a shower/toilet/could even charge my phone. Surroundings are stunning. Only a short walk to St Dogmaels. Lovely dog and cats on site. I would definitely come again, Susannah made me feel like home!
