About The Teifi Waterside Hotel

Breakfast at The Teifi Waterside Hotel gets a good deal of attention, with a generous continental spread and a restaurant menu built around locally sourced ingredients, though the kitchen doesn't always hit the same high note on every visit. There's a bar on site too, along with outdoor seating where the water views make a fine backdrop to a drink at the end of the day.

Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and a nice touch of fresh milk left in the mini-fridge. Family rooms and accessible rooms are available, and every room comes with sea views over the water. The hotel also has a lift, 24 hour reception, and a garden for those who want to spend time outdoors without leaving the grounds.

Set within Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and close to Poppit Sands Beach, the hotel makes a good base for walking and cycling the coast, with watersports, fishing, and golf all nearby, plus pubs and restaurants within easy reach. Free on-site parking and an EV charge point are provided, and staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, with the overall package felt to represent good value.

We visited for my birthday and what a treat! What a beautiful hotel, in a stunning location. Rooms are beautiful and the views are amazing. Lunch and evening meals- perfect. Every staff member was so friendly. The waiter we had on our first afternoon and evening was so lovely. ( we didnt get his name, sorry) Big Thank you to Brad and Rue and all the staff at Teifi Waterside. We will be back !

Call in for lunch as we always do when staying in the area. Never again bar person was very pleasant. Waitress friendly. When they delivered our lunch husband has fish and chips, mine was a caeser chicken salad. Having falked through the lettace leaves and croutons bacon. I realised alas no chicken. On bringing it to waiters attention he said he would go and see. A few minutes later waitress brought some sliced chicken that had been quickly cooked in microwave tasteless and warm. When waitress came to collect plates I explained the meal was inedible. She asked if we wanted anything else. I can assure you we will not be returning the staff where nice. But needs to get better kitchen staff someone who knows how to serve a simple chicken caeser salad. If we had not paid i would have offered half price as my salad was okay. So sad to see it's go down hill.

It was the last day of our holiday. Had passed the hotel a couple of times down to poppin sands. So we thought we would give a go. Wish we hadn't! We had to ask about our drinks they took too long. My meal came and i didn't notice at first but lifted my fish and what passed for chips we used to call scumps when we were kids. We did mention it to a member of staff but they were quite dissmissive.

Highly Recommend Warm welcome at reception and shown to our room by a lovely lady. , Rooms exactly as described and shown on website, EXCELLENT 👍 Mini fridge with FRESH MILK - 🎉 Polite and professional restaurant staff - Lewis in the restaurant was fabulous. When we arrived for dinner he advised where our table was , but a table in the window had become free if we would that, give him a few minutes and he would re-set it. AMAZING service. He also knew the menu and was able to chat about the dishes. The food was delicious. Continental breakfast was included in our room rate (you could order cooked breakfast) it is by far the most enjoyable continental breakfast I have experienced in UK. And very efficiently set up. Great staff at breakfast . Some rooms overlook the sea but also the driveway. However it is a one way system so it is only cars arriving that pass some rooms. . Our room was on the second floor so it was no issue . The balcony was perfect to sit and have a drink and watch the sea and the pub garden. A short drive or walk takes you to a small beach - Poppit Sands. Car park can get busy and the road is narrow but it is worth visiting. Small cafe in car park and life boat station. This hotel is not the cheapest but it was definitely worth its price and that is a rare find. Friendly staff, fab room, great food, pretty location. What more could you ask for? WISH WE HAD BEEN ABLE TO STAY LONGER - HIGHLY RECOMMEND
