About Dunston Hill Campsite
Tucked into three peaceful acres near Haverfordwest, Dunston Hill Campsite strikes a lovely balance between tranquil rural retreat and handy Pembrokeshire base. The family-run site feels genuinely welcoming, with traditional dry-stack stone walls framing well-spaced pitches and picnic benches dotted about for lazy afternoons. Reviewers consistently praise the spotless facilities block and the owners' friendly, helpful approach, making it particularly popular with families and those seeking a quieter stay.
The location works hard—beaches are close by, while the coastal path, climbing spots, and cycle routes are all within easy reach. On-site perks include a games room for children, campfire and barbecue permissions, and a small shop stocking local produce. A few guests note the site can feel a touch basic if you're after bells and whistles, but for most that's precisely the appeal: proper camping with proper space, minus the crowds.

What visitors say
Brilliant camp site in a great location, central to most places in West Wales. The owner of the site met us and showed us to our pitch that was perfect for us and he even sorted me out some electric as there was no pitches left but hooked me up with a long lead over some bushes. The toilet facilities are fine nothing special but not the worst in the world and the showers are hot and work and are clean. The kids facilities are old and need a little renewal but are not fully open due to covid and are probably the last thing needing to spend money on after covid I imagine the owners money needs to go elsewhere after near enough a year of no trade. All in all a great place I would stay again

Geraint is a real gent who owns the place. He helped me out with a last min late evening booking for the evening on the bankholiday weekend. Felt extremely safe staying here and the site has a really lovely vibe.

Family run business, very friendly people. Shower block, toilet and children's play area all well maintained and vivid measures in place. Nice view at the back of the pitch overlooking the fields and cows, 15 minute drive to a beautiful beach. Short drive to local town with lots of tourist attractions. Couldn't recommed enough!
