Pembrokeshire Barn Farm

We spent our NYE staying at Primrose after a hectic year. Josh was incredibly helpful and always on hand when needed to answer any questions/deliver some more logs for the hot tub. The Shepherds Hut is very well appointed with everything you could need for a couple of nights away (including a double hob and microwave - quite rare for a shepherds hut!) and the hot tub is a dream especially on cold winter nights. As the furthest one down the hill, Primrose is completely private with views for miles. We can't wait to return!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. We are even considering bringing the family down next year! *LONG REVIEW*. We booked VERY last minute, for 2 nights in the lilac dog friendly shepherd hut. Pictures don’t do this place justice. It looked a bit small and dated on the website but it has more of a beach/shabby/chic vibe. Bed was really comfortable, good size, and nice bedding. Kitchen area was perfect size for a few nights away. We were surprised at the size of the bathroom - it had a fully functioning toilet and a walk in shower. Powerful, hot shower. Water pressure was great throughout the hut. Lots of windows to cool the hut down (as the sun did make it rather hot). Great location. Approx 20 mins drive from Tenby town. It’s in the middle of nowhere (on a plot of land with a bungalow) It’s quiet, peaceful and has a lovely view. There are 4/5 other huts but they are not near each other so you get a lot of privacy. Each one feels private because of the plants and way they face down hill. There is a nice mowed off path to walk around that’s on their land and a little pond near the bottom of the field. Dog friendly was a massive bonus. The ONLY thing I’d say about this, is that I would have preferred it if there was a rule that other dogs be tethered. Ours was tethered on a 15m lead so he kept to our “plot”, but we did have an incident with another dog coming over to visit us (and jumped in our bed!! :D) Not a huge issue, just maybe a suggestion. Hot tub was lovely. Easy to light and only £6.50 for extra wood - although I feel one box would have lasted two nights if you kept the lid on. Also, the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch. Thank you. Definitely coming again!!

Highly recommend this place. This was our 2nd visit at the same little yellow hut and it was amazing as always. Josh is very informative and helpful! We plan on coming back for a 3rd visit this summer :) Absolutely love the private hot tub and such at such a genuine cost.
