About Pencarnan Farm Caravan and Camping Site

Generations of the same family have welcomed campers to this 96-acre working farm since the 1950s, and it's easy to see why guests return year after year—some now bringing their own grandchildren. The real draw is direct access to Porthsele beach below, where you can drive your kit straight down for swimming, kayaking and rockpool explorations at low tide. The adventurous can paddle or swim half a mile to surf beach Whitesands, or simply walk the coastal path there in under twenty minutes.

Three field areas offer various pitch types, all non-electric or with 3-amp or 16-amp hook-ups, and the well-kept facilities earn consistent praise. Peak season brings an on-site shop stocked with camping essentials and wetsuits, a daily coffee hut, plus a courtyard bar and pizzeria. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning views across St Georges Channel seal the deal, though some visitors note the site can feel a touch tired in places—a small price for such rare beachside access on the Pembrokeshire coast.

We had 2 nights in the beach feild which had fantastic views and 5 min walk to the beach. Could park anywhere which was great. On the coastal path. The facilities was good, clean toilets and showers. Was great to have pizza there one night and few drinks in the courtyard.

We stayed for a couple of sunny days in April and loved it. We were in our camper and stayed on an electric hook up pitch in Ramsay field. It’s a short walk to a beautiful beach that seems to be pretty exclusive for the site. Otherwise there is a coastal path about 30 mins to white sands which is spectacular. The campsite has good sized pitches and there is a lovely area by reception with a communal area and bar. The toilet/shower blocks were clean but they are all in the central area. If you are camping it might be a bit of a trek in the night. Beautiful walks nearby and a regular bus service to st David’s. We loved it

Lovely campsite with amazing views and your own private beach which is connected to the campsite. Was lovely during the heatwave ! Recommend camping in the lower field close to the cliffs.
