Rosebush Holiday Park

We stayed in Kingfisher lodge. It is very comfortable with lovely decor and t is well equipped. Looks directly onto a beautiful lake with water lillies and lots of wildlife. Hunter's bar is cosy and has a really good range of drinks. Lots of walks nearby and great food and drinks at Tafarn Sinc less than 10 minutes walk.

If you want to get away from it all this could be the place for you. Very quite. Unfortunately I hot no phone reception and the WiFi seemed to only work for a brief moment when sat outside the small onsite bar( which was closed at our time of visitation) . An easy base to use for visiting South West Wales.

Lovely 5 night stay at Rosebush. Reasonable facilities for tourers, showers were ok, low pressure. Beautiful views, such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Although off the beat and tracks, good location to travel from. Lake provided fishing opportunities.

We had an amazing stay here for a weekend. The location is ok, simple enough to get to with a few tight single track sections on the route but nothing to worry about, and a short drive to Narbeth etc. Booking was really simple, I just emailed Wendy to let her know how many people were coming and then sent money via bank transfer. On arrival Wendy was very welcoming and helpful, explaining where everything was and walked us over to our pitches (three families with caravans, all next to one another). Our pitches were level with a few water points nearby and a stunning view over the lake and the surrounding hills. The site is immaculate and peaceful. Electric can be temperamental if you’re boiling the kettle, with the toaster and tv running but a bit of common sense stops it from tripping. The facilities are modern and very clean. We didn’t use the showers as we always use the one in our van but we were nosey and had a look, with all cubicles spotless. Bring a torch as there’s not much lighting so walking in the evening is pitch black. This didn’t bother us as it’s the same wherever we go and we always have a torch. The on-site bar was great with plenty of drinks to choose from and all reasonably priced. It’s cash only so make sure you bring some with you. Again, Wendy (and the locals) were all friendly and welcoming. Wendy even opened up early so we could all watch the rugby on the Saturday. My son and I spent the Saturday fishing on the lake. £5 per person and my son was free because of his age. The only downside was zero signal on 4 different networks (O2, Three, Vodafone and EE) so we couldn’t stream anything in the evening like we usually do from our dongle. There is WiFi which worked well on the TV but not on our phones, but there is great WiFi in the bar if you need to use your phone. All in all this is as a lovely stay that I’d highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for somewhere in the area for a caravan/motorhome. We did visit Tafarn Sinc which is a short walk and did not receive the same welcome.
