Herons Log Cabin

Herons Log Cabin is a timber-built lodge sitting on the Rosebush Holiday Park grounds, a 15-acre site that spreads across natural woodland and surrounds an ornamental lake. The cabin itself is a single-storey property arranged on one level, with everything you need contained within its compact footprint. Two bedrooms—one with a double bed and ensuite toilet, the other with two single beds—share a shower room. The open-plan living and dining space features a wood-effect fire and French doors that open onto a decked terrace raised above the water, where you can sit with views across to the Preseli Hills beyond.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and full-size fridge, so you can cook properly rather than rough it. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. One dog can stay for free and roam the grounds on a lead—the park's mix of wildlife, including resident herons and water birds, means pets need to be kept close. There's an unfenced lake five yards from the cabin, so families with young children should be aware. Parking for two cars sits on the property, and an enclosed garden with terrace furniture gives you a private outdoor space.

The holiday park itself offers fishing for carp, roach and tench, walking trails through the surrounding forestry, and an on-site bar. The village of Rosebush, a former slate mining settlement, is nearby, as are the Pembrokeshire coast and various ancient sites within easy reach.
