Perched in the peaceful hamlet of Talbenny, this dog-friendly farm site sits just a mile from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, making it an ideal base for exploring the county's spectacular beaches and clifftop trails. The location is a walker's dream – Little Haven is 35 minutes on foot, Broad Haven Beach an hour's stroll (or 10-minute drive), and the coastal path stretches north to St Davids or south to Martin's Head.
The site occupies former RAF Talbenny land, with pitches accessed along what was once the old taxiway – an unusual quirk that adds character. Evenings here revolve around firepits under starry skies, with birdsong providing the morning alarm. Facilities are straightforward: shared showers and loos, washing-up area, and a tuck shop selling essentials plus weekend pizzas.
It's a back-to-basics setup rather than a glamping experience, but the peaceful setting and proximity to some of Pembrokeshire's finest coastal scenery more than compensate. Both Little Haven and Broad Haven offer cafés and pubs; for bigger shops, Milford Haven is 15 minutes by car.
