About The Hide Camping and Glamping

Tucked down a quiet lane with dramatic views toward the Irish Sea, this eco-friendly site in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park truly earns its name. The owners have installed bird hides so you can spot tawny owls, woodpeckers and other wildlife between walks to the beach, just ten minutes on foot. Spacious pitches are mown into long grass with ample room between them, and vehicles stay in a woodland parking area—wheelbarrows provided—keeping the field peaceful and car-free.

Facilities blend thoughtfully into the scenery: compost loos, LPG showers, drinking water and a recycling station, all designed for low-impact stays. Campfires are encouraged under the stars, and with minimal light pollution the night sky puts on a proper show. Local shops sit five minutes' drive away in Dinas Cross. Note there's an unfenced wildlife pond, so families with young children need to keep a careful eye near the water.

Best campsite I’ve stayed on, and I’ve seen my fair share. This place is an absolute gem. Stunning location surrounded by ocean views and wildlife, spacious and private pitches, well thought out facilities and wonderful owners. We used The Hide as a base for exploring the National Park over the bank holiday weekend and it offered the perfect slice of tranquility after busy days with plenty of company. It was a pleasure to stay here and to get to know Jemma and Geraint’s story. Thank you for making our first trip to Pembrokeshire so special - it definitely won’t be the last…

Absolute perfection. We love this part of the world and have visited beautiful surrounding area a fair few times. What a treat to find The Hide!! We lucked out with an extra peaceful time on a rainy bank holiday. Amazing views, lovely owners and just a really well thought out and practical campsite. Definitely worth the extra for your own outdoor hot shower, private toilet, covered cooking area and fire pit. We can’t wait to return!
