About Tir Bach Farm

Whatever your camping priorities – stargazing under Pembrokeshire's famously dark skies, waking to views of the Preseli Mountains, or meeting the resident menagerie – peaceful Tir Bach Farm delivers in spades. Spread across 26 acres of farmland, hay meadow and ancient woodland that runs down to a small river, this family-run site is home to geese, Terry the turkey, two Shetland ponies, goats, pigs and Charlie the farm dog, ensuring the kids stay thoroughly entertained.

The large barn houses a wood-fired pizza oven where children can learn to make their own supper – a brilliant rainy-day activity that also sorts dinner. There's table tennis, a pool room, playground and communal campfire area too. The converted milking parlour now serves as a well-appointed utilities block with hot showers, while wildlife from buzzards to red kites patrol overhead and swallows nest annually in surprising places.

St Davids Peninsula and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park are both within easy striking distance for beaches, coastal walks and watersports. With its exceptional 4.9 rating, Tir Bach hits that sweet spot between back-to-basics charm and family-friendly facilities.

We've just had the best time staying on the farm's boat. It was perfect! Such a fantastic experience, set in beautiful countryside and the private hot tub was absolute luxury. Our children LOVED it!! The boat was so well designed, with every last bit of space used and it was clean and fully equipped with everything you could need. The owners were so lovely and friendly. I highly recommend staying here. An experience we can't wait to repeat. Thanks so much, we'll be back soon.

We stayed in this camping for 3 nights, we really enjoyed it. It is a bit remote, at least 30 min for the coast but it is very peaceful and quite, even in busy time like bank holiday weekend. We had half of the campsite just for us! Facilities very clean, best shower ever, very hot and. With a lot of water. The owner is very nice and available for anything. Fire pits and dogs allowed.

Stunningly beautiful campsite with great facilities. It's a working farm with a beautiful woodland which leads to a running stream. The campsite has lovely showers in mixed, private stalls - great for families with small kids. It also has fridges for use by campers. The owners have an outdoor pizza oven which they fire up regularly and sell pizza kits so you can make your own and get it cooked there and then. The kids had a great time making their own tea. The site has a couple of yurts and a boat which has been bought onto land that you can hire out to stay in. You can also just rock up with your own tent. The views across the hills are gorgeous.

This is our favourite campsite of all time. Ash and Roze think of every detail and run the site with warmth and yet brilliant efficiency! Brilliant hot showers, fridges and freezer, lots of lovely space between pitches, paths to walk the dogs (always on leads so not a bother to anyone!), weekly pizza night ( so delicious). The location is fab- away from the busier coast but easily within reach. Gorgeous walks on the Preseli hills and plenty to do. Great little local shops meant we didn’t have to use a supermarket which is another great bonus! Great faculties on the site for kids; table tennis, play park and basket ball. I can’t recommend this site highly enough!
