About Wild Coastal Camping

Perched on a working farm at the edge of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wild Coastal Camping delivers exactly what its name promises: raw coastal beauty with the Coast Path literally on your doorstep. St Brides Bay unfolds below in a sweep of headlands and surf, while Broad Haven beach – all 15 minutes' walk down the hill – beckons with hire-ready paddleboards, canoes and a genuinely excellent roster of cafés and pubs. The site sits beside a Site of Special Scientific Interest, so expect puffins, choughs, peregrine falcons and dozing seals among your neighbours, plus the odd resident donkey.

Facilities stay true to the wild-camping ethos: portable loos and hot showers (national-park planning keeps things simple), mains water and washing-up areas. It's budget-friendly, motorcycle-welcoming and open to DofE groups, though dogs aren't allowed. A tranquil woodland loop around the farm offers respite when the coastal drama gets overwhelming. The high Google rating reflects the stunning location and that rare sense of genuine remoteness – though some might find the basic set-up less polished than conventional campsites.

I'm backpacking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and stayed at Camping Wild Wales for one night - I had the best night's sleep! This is such a peaceful and calm place to be, surrounded by the sounds of nature. Absolute bliss. Very much a hidden gem. Norman was very welcoming too 😊

Cannot recommend this place enough. Back to basics camping cheap family and dog friendly. There are toilets showers and kitchen facilities including washing machine and dryer all free to use. Tents caravan and motor home pitches no electric hookups. Honestly we love this place. Plenty of walking trails hikes etc choice of beaches all around.
