🏡 Self-Catering Cottage

1 Broad Haven

Pembrokeshire

Photo: Google Maps

This stone-built house occupies a commanding spot above Broad Haven's westerly-facing shoreline, with views across St Brides Bay from its balcony and garden. Built to take advantage of the landscape, the property opens onto outdoor space ideal for watching sunsets—something the orientation makes hard to miss. Four bedrooms, one bathroom, and a layout that keeps the living areas on the level with the best of the view mean groups of eight can spread out without cramping each other's style.

The kitchen is equipped for self-catering from scratch: oven, hob, fridge, freezer, and the everyday things people forget to ask about. Heating, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included. There is parking for three vehicles. The house does not permit smoking indoors. The nearest pub lies within a mile, and the beach—Blue Flag rated, with lifeguards in summer—is a short walk downhill.

Broad Haven village clusters round the sand, with cafés and shops within reach on foot. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs through, Little Haven's seafront is ten minutes away by cliff top or low-tide sand crossing, and the area suits families wanting safe swimming, walkers, surfers using the school at the beach, and anyone interested in the wider Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, from St David's Cathedral to Skomer Island day trips.
