Bwthyn Y Bugail suits families and groups wanting space and countryside surroundings without being remote. The detached cottage sits on a farm lane near Abercych, with meadows and valley views from the windows. Three bedrooms across two floors sleep six: downstairs has a zip-and-link kingsize that converts to two singles, plus an ensuite with double shower; upstairs are a kingsize and two single beds. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Ground floor is open plan, with the kitchen, dining and living areas flowing together under vaulted ceilings and beams. Large windows and patio doors frame the views; a woodburner heats the space.
The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking—two ovens, a hob, range, dishwasher and all the essentials—alongside a washer-dryer. The enclosed garden has a patio with furniture and barbecue, and parking for two cars. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are included; initial logs for the woodburner come with the property, further supplies are at cost. From here, Abercych village and the River Cych are a short walk away; Cenarth, known for salmon leaping at the falls, is a few minutes further. The inn near the hamlet serves local food and ale with river views. No smoking throughout the property.
