Lighthouse Watch

Pembrokeshire

A former farmhouse conversion, Lighthouse Watch occupies one of Pembrokeshire's most remote headlands. The building has been adapted across two floors to frame views across Strumble Head and its lighthouse from multiple windows, with original beams restored and left exposed throughout. Two bedrooms—one with twin singles, one double with ensuite—sit alongside two bathrooms and open-plan living space that includes a woodburner and full kitchen. Electricity, wifi, bed linen, towels and initial logs come as standard; heating is oil-fired, with costs around £30 weekly during colder months.

The property stands entirely separate from the owners' farmhouse, accessed by its own slate steps down to a garden area below. Around you are dramatic cliff-top walks, heath, native seabirds and sea mammals, and a landscape recognised by National Geographic as one of the world's finest coastlines. Fishguard's cafes and restaurants lie roughly 6 miles south; St Davids and Porthgain are within half an hour's drive, as are Newport and the Preseli Hills to the north. Rocky coves at Abermawr and Aberbach sit 4 miles along the coastal road. The owners ask that guests do not smoke inside.
