Lower Lochturffin
Pembrokeshire
Two Pembrokeshire stone barns, parts of which date to the early 1700s, have been joined by a central living space with floor-to-ceiling glass and a turf roof. The whole property is yours alone, set seven acres back down a tree-lined private drive. Surrounding the cottage are woodland, meadows and a nature reserve with two lakes and a pond—all within a quarter-mile walk but safely fenced from the grounds themselves.
Everything is on the ground floor. Three bedrooms sleep six: two with king beds (one opening to the garden), one with two singles. Two bathrooms have baths and showers. The kitchen handles proper cooking with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave and air fryer; it opens onto the garden. The living and dining areas have large screens for entertainment. The utility room contains a dishwasher and washer-dryer. Oil underfloor heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and linen are all included, and one pet stays free.
A walled garden with patio, furniture and barbecue sits immediately outside. The surrounding grounds give children space to run, while the nearby nature reserve, beaches and local spots are detailed in a 100-page guide left in the cottage. No smoking throughout.
