Manorbier beach is a three-minute walk from Shute Cottage, and the coastal cliff path runs directly past the front door. From there you can explore rockpools, find quieter coves, or walk to Manorbier Castle, which sits close enough to visit on foot. The village has a pub with a beer garden, a café, and a well-stocked shop. The cottage itself has real character: stone vaults, slate floors, oak and flagstones throughout.
The main house holds four bedrooms and three bathrooms across two floors. Bedroom 1 (two singles) and a shower room are on the ground floor; upstairs are a double and another twin, with a bathroom. A separate annexe adds a fourth bedroom (two singles) with ensuite shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, there's a wood burner in the living room, and essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Out back, a sheltered courtyard has a barbecue and garden furniture. One well-behaved pet can stay free. There's parking for four cars and space to play outdoors, though the garden has steps and a shallow stream running through it.
This is a full property to yourselves, sleeping up to eight. The check-in time is after 15:00 and you'll need to leave by 10:00. No smoking please.
