The Bungalow

Monkton sits on the Pembrokeshire coast near St Ishmael's, a quiet village within reach of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and its network of clifftop walks. The Bungalow is a substantial Victorian property that opens directly onto the beach from its garden, making it a natural base for groups wanting to explore this stretch of coastline or simply spend days by the water. The enclosed garden has seating and furniture; parking for four cars is on site.

Seven bedrooms across the main house and annexe sleep 15 people. The main building has a ground floor with three bedrooms, a bathroom and shower room, plus an open-plan living and dining space with a wood-burning stove and TV. Upstairs is another bedroom with an ensuite, a second lounge with a sofa bed, and a first-floor annexe with a third kitchen, third living room (no TV), bathroom and two more bedrooms including one with four single beds. Everything you need for cooking and eating is provided across both kitchens, along with washing facilities, Wi-Fi, heating and linen. The property does not permit smoking. One dog is welcome at no extra cost.

This works for large families or groups wanting separate spaces within the same roof—the annexe can function as a self-contained wing. St Ishmael's pub is nearby; the beach and coastal walks are on the doorstep.
