Moorgate Lodge suits couples after a break with extras, or small families wanting space to spread out. The ground-floor layout centres on a light, open-plan living area where the kitchen, dining space and lounge flow together—ideal for keeping everyone in one room or giving people room to do their own thing. Both bedrooms have their own shower room, which matters when you're sharing. The main bedroom has a super-king bed that converts to twins if you need it; the second has two single beds. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all covered, and the kitchen is properly equipped for cooking rather than just heating things up.

The real draw is the wood-fired hot tub outside on the grounds, which fits four and is private to the lodge. There's garden furniture to use, and the setting offers views across the Pendle area. The place is no-smoking. One dog stays free if you're bringing a pet.
