Ben Hennie is a single-storey cottage set on 20 acres of farmland in West Strathearn, three miles from Comrie. Everything you need is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with a wood burner and French doors to the garden, a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and washer-dryer, one bedroom with a king-size bed, and a bathroom with bath and shower. The property sleeps two and comes with Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and logs for the fire included.

The kitchen is properly fitted for self-catering, and a welcome pack from a local deli can be arranged. Outside, there's a patio with garden furniture and an enclosed garden, plus private parking for two cars. The grounds are shared but the cottage itself is yours alone. Underfloor heating keeps things warm, and a travel cot, highchair and fireguard are available if needed. The property draws water from a natural spring on site.

The location suits walkers and cyclists exploring Perthshire's hills and glens, with golf courses nearby including Gleneagles. Drummond Castle, the Grouse Distillery, and access to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs are all within reach. Perth, Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh are under two hours away. Smoking is not permitted.
