Cart Shed occupies one corner of a converted stone courtyard on a working farm two miles from Glenfarg village. The setting opens onto farmland with views across to the Lomond Hills. You have the whole place to yourself: a single bedroom with a double bed, a shower room, and a combined kitchen and dining space on the ground floor, plus a living room with a wood-burning stove and large windows framing the countryside.
The kitchen comes equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The living area is furnished for relaxation, with a Freeview TV and DVD player. Heating is electric central with initial logs for the stove provided. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and electricity are all included; you can also use the owner's freezer if needed. There is private parking for two cars and access to a shared garden with furniture. No smoking.
Glenfarg has a shop, play park and tennis courts. The nearby Rait Antiques Centre offers a browsing opportunity. The cottage works as a standalone rental or can be booked alongside The Steading Cottage to sleep six across both properties.

Interesting cafe with carefully curated vintage style. Keeping with the building. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff. Cost on the expensive side, but also has tip request on top.

We had a great lunch here, service was exceptional and the food was even better! Great coffee and freshly prepared local ingredients. My daughter said that it was the best pulled pork toastie she ever had! The chef was so kind that he even gave her some pulled pork to take away! She was absolutely thrilled 😁 thank you!

Gorgeous place. Massive cakes.... and I mean massive! Soup and artisan bread was really yummy and I'm sure everything else was good too. Loved the choice of teas, especially the loose leaf darjeeling, of which there was copious amounts served in a beautiful teapot. Surprised to find this tucked by the antique centre.
