Glenfarg village is two miles away with a shop, play park and tennis courts; further afield, beaches lie eighteen miles off, and pubs and restaurants are four miles distant. The Steading Cottage itself stands on a working farm, a converted stone building with ground-floor rooms throughout—living space with a wood-burning stove, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, two bedrooms (one double, one twin), and a bathroom with both bath and shower. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels come as standard; the wood burner has initial fuel provided, with more available locally.
A single-storey layout means no stairs to negotiate indoors, though the grounds do include some steps. Two cars can park on-site, and there is a sitting-out area with garden furniture, though this is shared with other properties in the steading conversion. The cottage suits couples or small families wanting a countryside base from which to explore Central Scotland, and the A-rated energy performance reflects the renovation work that has brought the old farm building up to modern comfort standards. No smoking throughout.
