Bracken Log Cabin
Perth and Kinross
Bracken Log Cabin is a timber cabin on a working farm in central Perth and Kinross. You walk into a single ground-floor space that combines living, dining and kitchen areas, with a bedroom and bathroom off it. The setup means everything is within a few steps—television and music facilities in the living zone, a dishwasher and electric cooking in the kitchen, a shower cubicle and jacuzzi bath next door. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with wi-fi and parking on site.
The cabin has its own hot tub, while a sauna is shared with neighbouring properties spaced well apart on the farm. A garden with furniture opens from the living space, though there is a slope here. From the door, footpaths lead across the meadows towards viewpoints over the Ochil and Lomond Hills. The nearest pub is about three and a half miles away; local farm shops and a small village with a paper shop are within easy reach by car. Perth itself lies roughly 10 miles south and offers city facilities, while Scone Palace, Stirling, St Andrews beaches and Edinburgh Castle are all within an hour's drive. The cabin runs on wind-generated electricity and draws water from a spring. Smoking is not permitted.
