Hatton Cottages - Heather Croft
Perth and Kinross
Woodland surrounds Heather Croft, a detached bungalow positioned where you can step straight into walking country. Roe deer move through the grounds, and the village of Dunkeld with its shops and cathedral lies just over two miles away. Birnam, home to the Beatrix Potter exhibition and riverside walks along the Tay, is equally close. The Loch of Lowes Wildlife Reserve and an 18-hole golf course sit a mile and a half off, with forest tracks for cycling nearby.
All three bedrooms and both bathrooms are on the ground floor: a double with ensuite, two singles, and a single in a separate room, sleeping five in total. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a dishwasher, combi microwave and electric cooker. A woodburner sits in the living room. Large windows throughout frame the countryside views the owners designed the property to capture. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with fuel for the woodburner. There is parking for two cars on site and a garden with seating. One pet stays free. The grounds include an unfenced stream, and smoking is not permitted.
