Hatton Cottages - The But ’n’ Ben
Perth and Kinross
The But 'n' Ben is a single-storey barn conversion designed around comfort and simplicity. You step into an open-plan living space where a sitting area with Freeview TV and DVD player connects directly to the dining and kitchen zones—no corridors, no stairs. The kitchen is properly equipped: electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave mean you can cook as much or as little as you want. The bedroom holds a double bed, and the ensuite shower room is attached to it.
Heat, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, along with Wi-Fi. There's a washing machine in the shared utility room and parking for one car on site. The property sits within 3 acres of wooded, natural grounds where roe deer are often spotted. An unfenced stream runs through the grounds, so be aware of that. A patio door opens onto the garden, where you'll find sitting-out areas and furniture.
Dunkeld village, with its shops, pubs and cathedral, lies 2½ miles away. Nearby Birnam has riverside walks along the Tay and a Beatrix Potter exhibition. An 18-hole golf course is 1½ miles away, and the Loch of Lowes Wildlife Reserve is adjacent to it. The bordering forest has its own walking and cycle tracks. No smoking indoors.
