Westerton - Westerton Lodge

Westerton Lodge suits couples after a quiet escape. This detached Victorian cottage stands alone in its own grounds within 20 acres of woodland, two miles from Crieff. The single bedroom and bathroom are all on one level; essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. There is parking on site and an enclosed garden for sitting outside.

Crieff itself is small and walkable, with independent shops, galleries, cafés and restaurants serving local food. A farmers market runs monthly, and the town hosts everything from Highland games to a walking festival depending on the season. Beyond that, the area opens up quickly: Loch Earn is close for water sports and fishing, golf courses pepper the region (Gleneagles among them), and the hills around Strathearn hold Munros and Corbetts for those who want to climb them. Mountain biking trails are also nearby. The cottage has a private garden with room to relax, though you cannot smoke inside.
