Absolutely amazing campsite, good facilities and within walking distance of the dunkery beacon. Great views at the campsite and a nice convenient walk down to the local village. The host Serena is very friendly and definitely made us feel welcomed.

A beautiful remote field for basic camping. Water and purifying tablets are supplied and there are compostable toilets. It's very laid back (basically turn up and leave when you like and park wherever you fancy. Fire pits and wood are provided at a nominal cost. We took our 6.6 metre motorhome and got in there no problem. Longer vans would also access the site easily. We met Serena (one of the owners) and she was very friendly and very helpful. The site is located just under 2 miles (by road) from Exford. To walk back into the village is about 1 mile down a bridle path (and a little bit steep in places) but well worth the walk. Dunkery Beacon is just over an hour's walk and well worth it for the amazing views. I highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

A really great spot - very much basic, quiet & reasonably priced. Dark skies were an absolute wonder. You can easily walk down to Exford for pub/food. Easy booking through PitchUp.
