Cwmgors sits at the foot of the Black Mountains, where serious walking and cycling territory begins immediately outside. Aberdulais waterfalls lie 10 miles away; Dan yr Ogof showcaves and the Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary are also within reach. A shop, pub and restaurant occupy the half-mile to the village centre, and the coast is 18 miles south.

Ty Cerrig is a terraced house sleeping five across three bedrooms—a kingsize on the first floor, two singles and a single on the ground floor, plus one bathroom. The ground floor holds a living room with TV and DVD player, a dining room and a kitchen equipped for self-catering, along with a separate toilet. An enclosed patio with garden furniture and a barbecue opens from the French doors. Two cars can park on site; there is a bike store. Essentials including wi-fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are covered. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available. No smoking throughout.
