From the warm welcome we received from Alan, until we had to say goodbye, this stay was outstanding! Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable with an amazing view across the water. Even our breakfast was brought to our room so we could enjoy the food whilst watching the view. Bliss. We felt privileged to stay here.

We loved our stay at An-Airidh. If you watch out for an authentic stay, look no further. Breakfast was delicious, served to the room. Romantic view across the Loch Portree. Very quite and only 10 minutes walk from the city center. Very clean room and bathroom and plenty of space to stow away gear.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The view was beautiful, the room comfortable, and the hosts were wonderful and made the experience that much better. It truly felt as comfortable as home. I highly recommend this place!!

My friend and I recently stayed at this charming Bed & Breakfast in the picturesque town of Portree as part of our 3-day tour in the Isle of Skye. The room was exceptionally clean (as was the bathroom), and our host (Alan) was most helpful and kind. One thing I was not expecting was the amazing view of Portree Harbour right out of our window every morning. Alan took our breakfast orders the day of our arrival, and the delicious meals were served promptly on time and exactly as requested. It was also nice to have free WIFI, a small refrigerator in the main room, and a towel warming rack in the bathroom. The bed was clean and comfortable as well. Although this location is on the south side of town, you're only 15 minutes (via walking) from the town square which is vibrant and full of shops and restaurants. Thank you, Alan, for making this a good memory of our time in the Isle of Skye.
