Grange Farm Caravan Park

We had the most beautiful 2 night stay here in our tentbox. The perfect place to escape reality for a little while. The location is fabulous with a park and shop within walking distance. I loved the honesty shop which is stocked full of all necessities and very reasonably priced with an option to pay cash or BACS. The toilets were clean and well kept with hot running water. The animal feeding station really stole the show for us, I have two children who love being outdoors and animals so this was such a nice addition. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for our first night away from our babies, and it has been wonderful. There were a couple of families staying the same night as us, but the pitches are large enough for you to have sound privacy. We were able to have music playing on a speaker (medium volume) without it disturbing other campers (we checked noise levels from other pitches) The toilets are basic but very clean and toilet roll provided. There is a washing up room, again basic but clean. The location is really lovely, very peaceful and some lovely goats to go and pet! We will be coming back hopefully over the summer with our children. Electric hookup - our cable is 5m and it wasn't long enough so we did have to park quite close to another family who was sharing the hookup. I'd recommend a longer cable. There is a shop with an honesty box for paying for fire pits, fire wood, firelighters etc and you can pay cash or bank transfer. I've stayed on quite a few camp sites as a solo camper with my dog, this was the first time my husband has ever camped in his life and he really enjoyed it! Genuinely a really really lovely site and we will be back!!

I stayed there last night with my Tentbox. I was the only person camping which was nice! It was incredibly peaceful until the dawn chorus (which you have to expect in the middle of farmland). Booking was easy via pitchup website. It’s a basic campsite but the essentials are there and it’s good value for the price. Most nearby are double the cost. It’s a no contact site so when you book you get a text with a pitch number and map. They make it clear when booking that there are no showers. The toilets are clean and there was plenty of hot water in the sinks. There’s a pot wash area and a little shop (with an honesty box) selling bits you might have forgotten and kindling/logs for the wood burners that can be borrowed. For animal lovers you can buy feed for the animals in the field behind and there’s a little wire fenced area to make it easy. There’s electric hook up but I didn’t need it. It’s a good site for a short stay.

A decent little campsite good value for money a couple of pubs close by within walking distance. I liked the honesty shop and the fact you could hire a fire pit cheaply and get the wood without any faff. There was also fresh eggs drinks etc. Pigs and geese on site fortunate enough to see some piglets too of which you are able to feed them too which kid loved. Would have been a five as unfortunately no shower facilities at the site. Water was slow running in rest rooms I expect as it was metered not ideal if it's muddy but also not a deal breaker if going for a couple of nights.
