Great Oak Pod

The Neath Valley's reputation rests on its waterfalls, gorges and forest walks – all within reach of Great Oak Pod. This single-bedroom, ground-floor pod accommodates two and comes with its own parking space and decked balcony. Inside, an open-plan layout combines living, dining and kitchen areas; the bedroom has a double bed and there is a shower room. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered.

The kitchen is fitted for self-catering with a gas hob and fridge. A TV and seating area sit in the living space. Beyond the pod, the site has communal facilities including a fire pit and BBQ if you want company – though you can book this property for yourselves alone. A pub is less than a mile away on foot. One well-behaved pet is welcome. There is no smoking inside.

Dinas Rock and the local waterfall lakes draw walkers and swimmers year-round. The Brecon Beacons and Forest of Dean are both within driving distance. For something different, Bike Park Wales and Zip World Tower are under 30 minutes away by car. After exploring, you will want to settle in with the heating on and a meal cooked at the hob.
