Llwyn Coppa Barn suits families or couples wanting rural peace without isolation. The converted 18th-century barn has two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with singles—and a bathroom upstairs, with the living spaces and kitchen on the ground floor. One dog is welcome. You get the whole property to yourself, with parking for three cars and a lawned garden with patio.
The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking: electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer all there. The living room has a TV and DVD player. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. If you're travelling with a toddler, a travel cot and highchair can be arranged.
Set on a private drive across farmland near Adfa village, the barn overlooks undulating fields and the Kerry Ridgeway beyond. The location sits in genuine walking country, crossed by old tracks and surrounded by sheep pasture and green hills. This is the kind of place where you can be properly quiet but still reach Newtown and Welshpool within reach. Note that smoking is not permitted inside.

Not sure it can get more perfect than Llwyn Coppa. The setting is absolutely stunning. The accommodation spot on, clean and extra touches such as the welcome pack of chocolate chip cookies, coffee, tea and milk, host had thought of everything. Hesitate to recommend as it might get too booked up and I really want to return.

My mum and I had a lovely stay here with our dog. It has everything you need to feel right at home, gorgeous views and is a great location to enjoy a more peaceful stay in Wales. It’s not too far from Hafren Forest -which has some great hiking trails - and other charming towns like Montgomery. Great, communicative host too, which made finding the property and checking in/ out and our actual stay really easy.
