Pen Y Groes

Pen Y Groes is a detached cottage near Berriew in Powys, sleeping eight across four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The ground floor contains a living room with open fire and smart TV, plus a kitchen/dining room fitted with an electric oven and hob, Aga, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A utility room houses a washing machine. Upstairs are three further bedrooms: one kingsize and two doubles, plus an additional shower room. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and firewood are all included in your stay.

Outside, an enclosed garden with patio offers garden furniture, a gas barbecue and firepit. There is private parking for three cars on site. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge. The cottage does not permit smoking. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request, as is a welcome pack and dog treats for four-legged guests.

Berriew village is a short distance away, and Welshpool with its independent shops, cafés and Powis Castle lies within easy reach. The surrounding countryside suits walkers and cyclists exploring the Mid Wales landscape.
