Presteigne sits on the Welsh borders in quieter country, within reach of Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow. Redwood Valley Cabins and Yurts occupies 25 acres of mixed woodland and meadow, a setting that draws stargazers and bird-watchers. The Treetop Cabin is one of several self-contained properties scattered across the land, positioned high on a wooded slope with long views down the valley.
The cabin sleeps three in one double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room, with a shower room and a kitchen equipped for self-catering. Bed linen and towels are provided. Logs for the woodburning stove are included. One balcony opens onto garden furniture and a hammock; a wooden walkway leads to an outdoor composting toilet. The structure itself is built from timber harvested on the valley floor. Windows frame the woodland canopy and native birds that move through it; the sound of the brook carries up from below.
The wider site offers shared barbecue and firepit facilities, and guest parking on-site. The property lies within a designated Dark Sky Area. Those interested in extending their stay can arrange courses in green woodworking, birdwatching, or ring-making through the owners. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Wow what a magical place! The Tree top cabin has everything you need for the perfect stay. The grounds and surrounding area stunning! Perfect to relax, unwind and enjoy the delights nature has to offer. Love that those that run it takes their Eco status seriously and provide you with a true glamping experience, no gimmicks just great accommodation, facilities and experience. An absolute gem, we will be back for sure!

Incredible place. Surprised my boyfriend with a stay here for his birthday last weekend and it could not have been more perfect. We stayed in the treetop cabin which feels like it's in its own little world, set back from everything, it was the most amazing place to just relax and recoup. We didn't want to leave! David was so helpful, even coming up and replacing our fire making supplies midway through the weekend when we requested. The cabin itself has it's own compost toilet and shower (which was amazing after a day of walking). Communal kitchen wonderfully stocked and the actual grounds are beautiful, we loved the tree swing. I couldn't have picked a better place for us to stay, highly recommend!

Just returned from a blissful stay in paradise! As soon as we arrived at the site, I felt my shoulders drop and my relaxation levels rise. So peaceful (the only sound is beautiful birdsong), I felt cocooned in my sumptuous yurt. Hosts are welcoming and friendly, and all the little details have been thought of to make you feel comfortable and at home. As a family, it was lovely to have the opportunity to spend quality time together, playing games and chatting around the firepit. Thank you so much - can't wait to come back!

Back from a lovely weekend away at the Treetop House at Redwood Valley, hosts are friendly, place is well set up for all your needs, comfty bed, great views, great for relaxing and watching nature go by. We were there early May and the bluebells were spectacular. Well recommended.
