Ty-Rhyd occupies a working farm in Powys, with the owners' house across the courtyard and over 100 acres of privately owned farmland available to explore on foot (depending on seasonal farming). Within half an hour's drive lie Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, Powis Castle, the Berwyn range, and facilities for golf, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, sailing and horse riding. A pub and shops are 1½ miles away. The nearest stabling for horses can accommodate two animals.
The converted barn sleeps 5 across three bedrooms: a king on the first floor with its own bathroom, two singles and a further single, plus a shower room. Downstairs has a living area with Freeview and Blu-ray, and a kitchen/dining room with electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. A separate toilet, terrace, garden with patio and BBQ, and off-street parking complete the layout. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided.
The property suits families with children aged 7 and over. Note that the garden includes a river, and the internal stairs are steep and narrow.
