Just back after another lovely weekend at Wild Valley Huts. We've stayed a number of times now - a real gem of a place. Heather and Grahame have thought about everything. We hadn't tried their fresh bread before, delivered in a cute little bag with butter and jam... OMG it was amazing (and we definitely recommended you toast it - delicious!). We stayed in the Red Kite this time, and it had everything we needed. The wood fired hot tub was a real treat after a day out exploring. We will definitely be returning again soon.

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Wild Valley Bunkhouse as a family of four and would highly recommend it. Graeme and Heather were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with a delicious freshly baked loaf of bread along with a selection of condiments, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The bunkhouse itself was comfortable, clean, and very well equipped. Although compact, it had everything we needed for our stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, fridge freezer, table and chairs, comfortable beds, and a reliable Wi-Fi connection. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into ensuring guests have everything they need. The location was excellent. The surrounding scenery was stunning, and we particularly enjoyed the beautiful views on our journeys towards Snowdonia. It also proved to be a great base for exploring the wider area. We took day trips to Liverpool and Chester Zoo, both of which were easily accessible by car. For essentials, the local Spar is only around a 10-minute drive away. Overall, this was excellent value for money and one of the most welcoming places we have stayed. Thank you, Graeme and Heather, for helping to make our family holiday so enjoyable. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We have just come back home after spending a whole week in the Red Kite at Wild Valley Huts. We chose Wales for hiking, disconnecting and enjoying nature, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. The hut is set right in the middle of the countryside, and you do need to drive a good hour to reach some places, but that is part of the charm. The surroundings are stunning, incredibly peaceful, and the attention to detail in the hut is outstanding. It feels very private, with heating and a log burner that make it wonderfully cosy. Everything you need is provided. Graeme and Heather are lovely hosts who make sure you have everything you need straight away. We really enjoyed the homemade bread, butter and jam, as well as the locally sourced breakfast. They were also very attentive, bringing fresh towels and robes during our stay. We made the most of the BBQ, and the cherry on top was relaxing in the hot tub — very private and perfect after long hikes. It’s also dog-friendly, and our Bichon Frise, Tofu, loved every second of it. This is definitely a place to stay and return to 💕 We had an amazing week and some unforgettable hikes.

We had a fantastic stay in Cuckoo hut!. The cabin itself was spotlessly clean and included some lovely touches like robes for the hot tub and fresh bread. If you want to escape from the day to day and completely unwind then this is the place to do it. Thank you Heather and Graeme- we will certainly be back ☺️
