Upper Caerfaelog opens into a generous ground floor with a living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen that runs to a range cooker, American fridge freezer and dishwasher. There's also a games room with pool table, plus a separate bathroom upstairs with bath and shower. Across seven bedrooms—a mix of doubles and bunks—the property sleeps 14 and comes with bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating included. One bedroom has its own ensuite. The whole place is yours alone, no shared facilities.
Outside, a private garden holds a hot tub for six and a sauna. There's seating, a barbecue and parking for four cars on site. The farmhouse sits in rural Powys above Llanbister, surrounded by the kind of countryside that draws walkers and cyclists. Glyndwr's Way National Trail runs nearby. No smoking inside, and one pet is welcome at no extra cost.

Not quite what we had expected ! This property is on a working poultry farm and the building were being extended at the time we visited ( July 2026 ) . Vehicles coming and going, Noise from the workmen . Not quite the isolated property we had . expected from the agent . in addition I have just noticed a pile of dead chickens left by the shed visible from the garden these will attract vermin and flys . not exactly what my grandchildren want to see on holiday. Flies are massive problem & the annexe where i stopped need a deep clean !

Fantastic get away with the family. 11 of us in all and a dog. Very clean, everything comfortable and cosy. Hot tub brilliant. So peaceful.
