Ribble Valley is around 25 minutes away. There are plenty of local routes for walks and bike rides, and a convenience store and coffee shop are just 10 minutes' walk from the site.

Just had a two night stay and feel we have found a little gem. The site is immaculate. We felt so secure and relaxed. Owners Jane and Walter are lovely. 20-30mns to Blackpool, Lytham, St Annes and Fleetwood. We will definitely go back.

Unfortunately, we were unable to stay at this caravan site despite its excellent reviews. Our booking was cancelled just six days prior to our arrival after we informed the site that we had to change our vehicle due to our original one requiring a new transmission The replacement vehicle is a VW Amarok, which is classed a commercial vehicle but not used for work purposes and carries no signage. It is simply a larger vehicle suitable for towing our 7.3-metre caravan. While the website states that commercial work vehicles or those with signage are not permitted, this policy does not appear to clearly address privately owned larger vehicles used for towing. This lack of clarity is disappointing, particularly as many caravan owners rely on larger vehicles with higher towing capacities. Clearer guidance on what constitutes an acceptable vehicle would help avoid situations like this. This booking was especially important to us as it was planned to celebrate a 40th birthday over the Easter bank holiday. Due to the late cancellation and the peak holiday period, we have been unable to secure alternative accommodation. I would strongly recommend reviewing and clarifying the site’s vehicle policy to prevent similar issues for future guests.
