About Bodwrog
Perched on a hillside just outside Llanbedrog, Bodwrog unfolds across open grassland with sweeping views over Cardigan Bay to Snowdonia's peaks beyond. The four-mile run into Abersoch puts beaches and cafés within easy reach, while the site itself keeps things refreshingly simple—touring caravans, tents, campervans and motorhomes all welcome, with water and drainage hook-ups, seasonal pitches and winter storage for those who return year after year.
An on-site restaurant saves the short drive for supplies, and the shower block and washing-up area are both well maintained. Some visitors note the facilities can feel a touch tired in places, but most agree the panoramic coastal outlook more than compensates. Dogs are welcome, Wi-Fi keeps you connected if needed, and the nearby village ensures you're never far from a proper meal or provisions.

What visitors say
We have never been to the Lyn Peninsula before. What a wonderful place to stay on it. The views from the campsite were spectacular. The pitches were big and you could pick your own. The facilities were excellent. The cleanest toilet block. No matter what time you visited, it was spotless. We wanted a peaceful rest from our stressful life and this was perfect. We just walked. Visited Abersoch, Pwllheli and local Llanbedrog. The weather was brilliant but we are sure it would be great anytime.

What an amazing campsite. This is our forth year as a family returning, my kids love it. Felt very peaceful and spacious, despite staying at the busiest time of the season. Fabulous views of Cardigan Bay, amazing sunsets. Also very kid friendly, lots of space for mine to play and make friends! Also has excellent footpath links into Llanbedrog downhill, Myntho and also Abersoch and beaches, which are longer walks but still great access. Can never fault! Very welcoming , friendly owner and wardens, clean facilities. Would 100% recommend.

+ Clean, well kept, modern washrooms and washing facilities. Showers are great. Washer and tumble dryer. Great views when the sky is clear. Owners friendly. Freezer for food and ice packs in reception. We arrived on a Saturday and left on a Tuesday, very peaceful site. Would happily visit again. 45 mins walk to the sea. - hand dryers lacked gusto. When it's rains the grass gets saturated, so moving vehicles can be tricky. Nothing else to fault from our few days

Beautiful campsite with amazing views, Snowdon to the left and Cardigan bay to the right. Can't beat it. Facilities are immaculate. Caravan pitches are large and connected services reliable. Really handy for anything you want to do on the peninsula and beyond. We've had a van here since March and have explored much of beautiful North Wales. Our family has had pitches here over 20 years and we can see why! We want our toddler to grow up with great memories and this is a perfect regular location for that. Sad that we're coming to the end of the season now!
