About Ty Cynan Caravan and Camping

Tucked into a spectacular rural setting on the Llŷn Peninsula, Ty Cynan Caravan & Camping combines peaceful green space with quick access to Gwynedd's beaches and market towns. Owners Laura and Dylan are generous with local tips, and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join the action-packed exploration. Llanbedrog beach sits under 10 minutes' drive away, while Abersoch's wide sands are 15 minutes down the road—Pwllheli's shops are equally close for supplies.

The site itself is a couple of minutes' walk from Rhydyclafdy village, home to the local pub and the acclaimed Twnti Seafood restaurant. Pitches all come with electricity and water hook-up, while facilities cover the essentials: showers, toilets, launderette, washing-up area and chemical disposal. A communal green and play area keep families happy during downtime. It's a tiny, friendly spot that punches above its weight for walkers, wildlife-watchers and anyone craving a genuine slice of north Wales.

It was sort of last minute booking as we were let down by someone else. First time in bell tent and it was amazing. Whole place is immaculate from tent to kitchen, shared showers and toilets.. Bed super comfortable, tent equipped with everything you need and even more. Highly recommended !

Had a wonderful stay in the Freya bell tent with another friend for a long weekend. Lovely and clean facilities with nice touches. The citing in the wildflower meadow and living willow fence is delightful. We made the most of the strawberry PYO and the ice cream in the cafe. Nice restaurants in the local area and we were shown a nice route to walk to the beach and enjoy the sun. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay in the Freya bell tent for our first glamping experience. What a beautiful location! Laura went above and beyond to look after us and the facilities were excellent. A very relaxing stay and we will recommend to friends xx

Lovely place, very pretty and very well maintained. Very welcoming; Unfortunately we were unable to get on our original campsite due to boggy grass and terrible field conditions and so we were left with no where to go...i rang this campsite as a last minute thing and they allowed us to stay in our campervan. Lovely people, in the morning Laura came to see us on the pitch and asked if we needed anything which was thoughtful. Can not praise this place enough even through the brief stay we had, but so accommodating! Great value for money too... Toilets/shower are some of the cleanest I've had on a campsite and there is also a cleaning room where tea, coffee and fresh eggs are provided. Would stay again in a flash!! Thanks again, Sophie and Marc.
