Arcadian

Arcadian is a one-bedroom cottage in the village of Skinningrove, on the North Yorkshire coast. You step into a living room warmed by a woodburner, with a sofa and armchairs facing a Freeview Smart TV. The kitchen and dining area are open-plan, allowing you to cook and eat together; essentials like electricity, Wi-Fi and bed linen are included, with the first load of wood for the burner already there. Upstairs, a double bedroom offers ample storage, and the shower room has a walk-in shower.

The cottage is set in a quiet village that has largely escaped the usual seaside development, with a café, shop and fish-and-chip takeaway within the community. From the door, you are roughly a five-minute walk to the sandy beach at Skinningrove Bay, and Cattersty Sands lies just beyond. The Cleveland Way passes overhead along the cliff tops, offering a walking route to other beaches along the coastline. A locked shed outside stores bikes and equipment. The property does not permit smoking. One dog may stay free.
