Bridge House

Bridge House comes equipped for a self-catering stay with everything in place: bed linen and towels are provided, wi-fi is live throughout, and the kitchen is fitted for proper cooking. A wood burner warms the ground floor, where an open-plan living space holds recliners, a dining table and a 43-inch smart TV with streaming. Upstairs are three bedrooms—two with king beds, one with singles—served by two bathrooms with both bath and shower options. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are on hand for younger children.

The garden is the real draw. A river runs alongside the property, and the enclosed outdoor space has been built around it; there's a hot tub in its own shelter, decking with seating, and a gas barbecue for cooking outside. A riverside walk leads past a waterfall into woodland beyond. Inside and out, the 150-year-old building has been thoroughly restored. Parking is available for two cars, and there's an electric charging point if needed. The house does not permit smoking. Redcar and Cleveland is on the northern edge of the North York Moors, with The Station Hotel nearby for reference.
