About Old Rectory House & Orangery Rooms
Redditch sits in Worcestershire within easy reach of the British Motor Museum, and just off Ipsley Lane, Old Rectory House & Orangery Rooms offers a quieter, greener corner of the town to return to at the end of the day. The building's period character and well-kept grounds have made it a favourite choice for weddings, with gardens and outdoor seating that lend themselves to photographs as well as relaxed afternoons outdoors.
There are just seven rooms, each en-suite, so the feel throughout is intimate rather than corporate. Rooms come with drinks available on request, and the wider hotel offers free WiFi, 24 hour reception and free on-site parking for arrivals at any hour. Breakfast is served each morning, and the restaurant and bar handle everything from wedding breakfasts and afternoon tea to more everyday dining, with staff generally attentive and easy to deal with.
Meeting rooms make the property workable for small business gatherings, while golf, entertainment, pubs and restaurants nearby give guests options beyond the grounds. It's a well-rounded base for a wedding, a visit to the British Motor Museum, or simply a comfortable stopover in Redditch.
What guests say
I hired the Orangery and Fig room for a Birthday Party for 55 people. I did it online and didn't visit the venue before. I was delighted when it was perfect. The food was great the staff were helpful and attentive and the rooms comfortable. The Dinner Jacket DJs got us partying, it just ended too soon at 11pm...... But I would recommend it for a celebration.

I recently held a photoshoot at Old Rectory House and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making everything feel relaxed and easy from the moment we arrived. The rooms are full of character, with beautiful details that add so much depth to photographs. There are plenty of versatile spots for photos, both indoors and around the property, which makes it such a great location for creative shoots. A truly lovely venue to work in – I’d happily return again!

This amazing place has everything for a stay in a unique building in peaceful and quiet surroundings. The old rectory house is a lovely building with so much character. It is located in a quiet area and within walking distance to Arrow Valley country park which has some lovely walks, scenery and wildlife. Although the reception isn’t always staffed I had received clear instructions on access to the building, my room and an overview of the facilities. On arrival there was a member of staff present who was helpful, friendly and showed me the facilities. It was a quiet location at night with a comfortable bed and large room. There is plenty of cereal and fruit available for breakfast.I would recommend this venue for somewhere to stay which has a lot to offer for a reasonable price.
