About The Hotel Rafiya
The Hotel Rafiya keeps things simple with a restaurant and bar on site, so there's no need to head out for an evening meal or a quiet drink after a day out. There's also outdoor seating and a garden for anyone who fancies eating al fresco when the weather allows.
The hotel has 48 rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, aimed squarely at guests who want a straightforward, affordable base rather than added frills. Rooms are kept at a budget price point, and while staff are on hand round the clock and happy to help, some rooms can show their age and would benefit from more upkeep. Free WiFi is available throughout, and the 24 hour reception means arrivals and queries are never a problem at odd hours.
Free on-site parking is a genuine plus for anyone driving into Worcestershire, and pets are welcome too. Nearby, there's a golf course, entertainment options, and a handful of pubs and restaurants for those who want to explore beyond the hotel itself. The Hotel Rafiya suits guests after a no-frills stay in Redditch with the basics covered.
What guests say
The site was extremely run down. In the past there was a bar and dining facilities, all gone. It was very disappointing. However the room was clean and fit for purpose, facilities were adequate but only just. A one night stay was enough for us.

Last minute budget booking due to change of holiday and weather circumstances(we was away camping). There was an issue on check-in when our Booking.com confirmation of room and dog was not found by the hotel manager when we arrived. Took over an hour to sort out with him contacting accounts and IT to recheck their different booking system and we nearly reported a fraud transaction as money was removed from account in dollars rather than pounds, but eventually manager/owner said he had found it, and offered to book directly with him next time as the owner. Anyway, the room was spacious, TV angle could be higher due to size and position in room. Biggest issue was that Floor in room and bathroom was dirty on arrival, and hairs in shower but bedding was clean. A wardrobe with a pole but no hangers or hooks to actually hang coats up, which would've been handy due to the heavy rain. For price the £20 per night charge for dog, in relation to cleanliness of room isn't put to good use is disappointing. In conclusion, if you need to stop somewhere short-term, low cost and it's out of the way but shops accessible by car, and modest expectations, then it will suffice.

Wow , I didn't know hotels like this existed in the UK ! Terrible, I wasn't convinced the room door lock would hold so ended up barricading myself in as there were some unsavoury characters around. Bath was in a state and to top it off , no hot water. The only positives were that the staff were around when I checked in late in the day and location was convenient Other than that - Just knock the place down and start again. Dire

Spent a week here for a training course, and it was exactly what was needed. Rooms were clean, outside areas to enjoy the sun and surprisingly quiet considering it's location. Staff really friendly and would recommend.
