What visitors say
Hosted party at The Light. Fantastic host called Alexia who was with the party at all times, sorting out which activities we were doing and topping up the drinks. Fantastic tutorial from Alexia on the axe throwing and a real must for anyone who is doing multiple activities. Danny had organised my brother stag do here and Alexia made it flow seamlessly. Would definitely have another event here. Brilliant fun.

We visited The Light Redhill this evening for bowling and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When we arrived there was no one available to greet or guide us, and we had to search around before eventually finding someone to take us to our lane. When we got there, one of our lanes was still occupied and another had just finished, leaving a significant mess which we had to clear ourselves because no staff were available. We finally managed to start our game around 6:15pm, despite our booking being for 6pm. Then at 7pm the machine automatically reset for the next booking, even though we had lost time due to the earlier delays. This led to an unpleasant confrontation with the group booked after us, and we were verbally abused despite the situation not being our fault. We spoke to the manager who was polite and empathetic, but he said he did not have the authority to resolve the issue and that we would have to wait until Monday to hear back. That really isn’t acceptable when the problem occurred on the night. More generally, the venue appeared poorly organised. There were plenty of staff walking around restocking shelves, clearing trays and loading dishwashers, but very few visible customer-facing staff to help guests. People were queuing for around 20 minutes to spend over £80 on drinks, which says a lot about how inefficient things were. Overall it felt chaotic and badly managed. What should have been a fun evening ended up being frustrating and disappointing.

I had my son's 6th birthday party bowling and food and it was the best party I've done for my 3 kids. It went so smoothly was not stressful at all as a parent, our party host Logan, went above and beyond. He was always about to ask questions and was always one step ahead for the next thing with the party to make sure it was all organized. The food was excellent nearly clear plates all round which for a bunch of 6 years olds was brilliant! Would definitely recommend a party at the light. Some parents even stayed with siblings and went and did other activities whilst there so very useful if you have multiple children.
