The Old Stables is a converted rural property sleeping four across two bedrooms, arranged entirely on the ground floor. An emperor bed in the first bedroom and a kingsize in the second mean comfortable sleep for two couples, while the shower room includes a walk-in enclosure and separate toilet. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area centres on a wood-burner, with large windows overlooking the courtyard and beyond.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and integrated appliances. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wifi are all included. Outside, there is private parking for three cars, a bike store, and a garden with seating and furniture. Smoking is not permitted inside.
Howwood village has two pubs and a country club with restaurants; Johnstone is three miles away for shops and supermarkets. The location suits walkers and cyclists, with countryside accessible on foot, and is roughly 30 minutes from Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. Glasgow is an easy drive for theatre, galleries and shopping, while a railway station in the area connects to Paisley, Glasgow and beyond.
