About The Herbalist Rooms
Food and drink run through The Herbalist Rooms, which pairs its own restaurant and bar with rooms stocked with drinks, so guests can eat downstairs or settle in with something from the minibar upstairs. It's a small hotel built around that hospitality, set in the heart of Retford at 24a The Square, putting guests right in the middle of the town rather than on its edge.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and free WiFi, and there's a garden with outdoor seating for guests who want to sit outside rather than in the bar. A spa and sauna are also on site, and reception operates around the clock, so arrival times are flexible.
Beyond the hotel, Retford's own pubs, restaurants and eateries are all within easy reach, along with entertainment options and a nearby golf course. It's a compact, well-equipped base for exploring the town on foot.
