Rose Cottage

Rhondda Cynon Taf

View on Google Maps

This stone cottage dates back around 150 years and retains the character of its era, though the interior has been modernised for comfort. The ground floor is open plan, with a living area centred on an electric wood burner and Smart TV, and an L-shaped kitchen with breakfast bar separating the two zones. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds, each with its own ensuite shower room. The property sleeps four, and wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. An enclosed front garden with picnic bench and on-road parking complete the setup.

Rose Cottage works well for families or groups of friends wanting their own space in Aberdare town centre. The Rhondda Cynon Taf valleys offer extensive walking, from waterfall routes to country parks, and several activity centres—Zip World, Bike Park Wales, and others—sit within half an hour's drive. Brecon Beacons National Park is also accessible for a day out. Local bus and railway connections mean you can reach the coast in around an hour, or head to Cardiff for a different sort of break. Smoking is not permitted inside.
