About Cwybr Fawr Touring Site
Tucked just outside Rhyl in Rhuddlan, this compact family-run site delivers practical touring comforts on 16 generous hardstanding pitches - large enough that your awning sits on firm ground too. Each pitch comes fully serviced with 16-amp electric, fresh water and drainage, while the brand-new gas central heated toilet block ensures plentiful hot water year-round. The resident warden keeps things ticking over smoothly, and facilities include chemical disposal, recycling and tourer storage for those extending their stay.
The location strikes a useful balance: far enough from Rhyl's bustle to feel peaceful, close enough to reach shops, bars and restaurants nearby, plus the coast and Rhuddlan's historic castle are both a short drive. Golfers, anglers and horse riders will find pursuits within easy reach. Though the site doesn't accept dogs, it remains a solid, no-nonsense base for tourers seeking full hook-ups and a straightforward, well-maintained stopover in North Wales.

What visitors say
Stayed at the CL side of the site. Lovely and quiet with minimal noise from the road and usual basic amenities. Loved the fleecy neighbours 😍

A good 9 years until year 10. Electric price was raised without knowing and when I question it it was stated by the manager I knew about it and signed for it. The manager even produced my signature on the sheet with the text on saying about the price increase.. I was asked to sign for the meter readings, not the addition of text. A very dictatorial manager. If you challenger her in any way, you are shown the door. As I was.

Well what can I say I love to class feedback as constructive but unfortunatley this review is far it. On arrival it started off well bear in mind there is nothing at all on this site to do as it's just a CL site. Now there are to members of staff Sue absolutely lovely and Pam well will not comment!!. When you stay it will be just a small grassed Uneven Boggy field which states 5 caravan on the caravan club site, at anyone time when infact we have been on with 7 plus. Now as most sites we have been to they have been very helpful and polite, unfortunatley apart from Sue this site follow way short. When you stay you can only put one bin liner bag of rubbish in the bin compound a week, visitors can not use the toilets if needed, you cannot just rock up with caravan if you are taking back to storgae. Pam is very rude to the guest and was well teied to be very rude to me which didn't work. Now they charge you £495 per year to store your caravan but the dictate to you when you can have access. If youbare looking for somewhere quiet but unprofessional to leave you beautiful caravan then DO NOT pick here, your life will be made a living hell and your restriction are ridiculios. In a way 1 star is far too much but I was so glad to take my caravan away from there yesterday and be rid of them. Your call folks but I would AVOID like the plague
