Paythorne sits on the Yorkshire and Lancashire border in countryside that opens onto both the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. Fallow House is a stone-built cottage designed to traditional appearance but with modern eco-friendly standards throughout. The village itself stays quiet and secluded, though a pub is within walking distance and Skipton's shops and facilities are easily reached for supplies or a bigger day out. The property works well for groups who want to explore the surrounding hills on foot or by bike, with the moorland and fell walks nearby.
The cottage sleeps 8 across four bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. One double bedroom sits on the ground floor with a wet room, making it more accessible if needed. The others are upstairs: two rooms with twin single beds, one with a kingsize bed. Downstairs you get a living and dining space with a wood-burning stove, and a kitchen equipped to cook properly—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave. Wifi, heating and electricity are included, along with bed linen and towels. There's parking on site, a lawned garden area, and an enclosed patio with garden furniture. One dog can stay free of charge.
Fallow House is available for holiday lets only and operates as a whole property rental, so you'll have the place to yourselves.
