Pendle View – The View is a detached lodge sleeping six, positioned on a holiday park centred around lakes in the Ribble Valley. Families and groups will find three bedrooms (one king with ensuite, one king, one with twin singles) and two bathrooms spread across a single ground floor, opening onto decked areas with seating. The open-plan living and dining space has French doors to the outside. A fully equipped kitchen handles self-catering, and Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. One pet stays free. Smoking is not permitted.
The park sits at the foot of Pendle Hill, close enough for a walk but far enough to feel secluded. The previous use as a fishery means guests have exclusive fishing rights on the lakes, and the water is also open for general leisure. The Forest of Bowland lies within reach for cycling and walking. Clitheroe is the nearest town. Preston is roughly 30 minutes away; Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales are similar distance in the other direction. Private parking for two cars is on site, and there is a bike store.

16 Lakeside View is a stunning lodge inside. I’ve stayed here twice now a month at a time and it’s very peaceful.

Our stay at Pendle View Lake Hotel in the Lake District was truly wonderful. The area is incredibly beautiful, with a clean, clear lake that looked breathtaking. We booked through Airbnb and had access to a private boat provided by the owner, which made the experience even more special. The house itself felt just like home. It was very well-equipped, with three comfortable bedrooms—perfect for up to six people. We stayed as a group of four adults and a child, and everyone had plenty of space. Everything we needed was already there, and the price was great value for a family stay. Even though one full day was rainy and windy due to a weather warning, we never got bored. The house had lots of entertainment options, including games, books, Wi-Fi, YouTube, and a TV, so we all had fun indoors. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway in the Lake District.
